1996 Supreme Nylon Box Logo Pullover

Supreme Nylon Box Logo Pullover
Year: 1996

Before we go ahead and get into this one, I’d like to once again thank @sole_possession_ for supplying me with pictures that I can add to the page. A few days back I had posted about the Nylon box logo pullover and now it’s time for the Nylon crewneck. There’s certain items that will pop up from time to time where using “rare” to describe it just doesn’t do that item justice. This is one of those instances. Back in 1996, I’m willing to bet that there wasn’t a single person who said “you know, I should probably hold on to this item and keep it in great condition because in 2016 this brand is going to be huge”. That’s why a lot of these early items just aren’t around today. In the early days of the brand when skating was more of the focal point of Supreme, everyone would just wear their stuff as they would anything else because at the end of the day it was just clothing. Fast forward 20+ years to see the cult like following that Supreme has amassed and the “wear your shit” attitude isn’t exactly what it use to be. And the fact that the above piece survived all of that just makes it that much more special. The box logo on this particular item was made of a nylon material with white “Supreme” embroidery dead center much like the crewnecks that release nowadays.
