Supreme Motion Logo Lighter
Year: 1998

The Motion Logo is well known to be influenced by the opening of the 1990 mob crime-drama “The Goodfellas”, based on the life and crime of Jimmy Conway (Robert DeNiro) and Henry Hill (Ray Liotta). Not an official zippo collab, but done on zippo styled lighters, this item is so rare that I’ve actually never even seen it come up for sale. The image is a bit blurry so I apologize but the fact that this is the only picture I could find combined with a bit of editing on my part to make it look better, I think this picture will do. Their most notable heist was when they cleaned out an airplane transferring money and jewelry, getting away with an estimated $5.875 Million in cash, which would convert to $21.3 Million and then an additional $875,000 in jewelry. Jimmy Conway (also known as Jimmy Burke) is known to be the mastermind of the heist, but was never brought up on official charges. Supreme must be huge fans of Robert DeNiro, since this is the 2nd tee based on his movies with the other being the “Taxi Driver” tee which was one of the first Supreme tees ever released
