Here are some comparison shots I took last night of a pair of real Jordan Supreme 5's in 10.5 vs a pair of fake Jordan Supreme 5's in 10. The first thing you'll notice is the box. I do not collect Jordans so i'm not sure if this is normal, but for a half size difference in shoe size, the size of the box is drastically different. The white pair is REAL. The black pair is FAKE.
Next, take a look at the box label. If you look closely, you can see the font is different on the fake label, but very close. The retail font is bolder.
At a glance, the packing material and shoes appear to be very similar, lets take a closer look:
Again, inconsistencies in the packing material. This is just a fun comparison, i don't think people would ask to see packing material, but you can see the sizing and material is different
One very obvious tell is the packing shoehorn.
Next up, lets look at some of the obvious signs on the shoes themselves.
First up is the side panel. The mesh on the retail version is not completely clear. It's a bit opaque and frosted. On the fake version, the plastic mesh is almost completely clear and very shiny.
On the flipside, the soles of the retail are almost clear. On the fakes, the soles are more opaque, dull, and harder to see through. The fakes also have a bit of a blue hue to them.
Next up is the tongue. This is not so great on the fake version. Wouldn't be so noticeable on foot, but still. I will let the picture speak for itself, see how the jumpman touches the top on the fakes?
The side profile becomes a little more obvious. The tongue does not extend out as much on the fakes. Stitching not as clean and shape not as sharp. I've highlighted some key areas. Again, i think these are less obvious on foot.
